Emozioni e condivisioni: come essere nella stessa classe e nello stesso momento
Giornata piena! Piena di cosa da fare, di idee e anche di emozioni che come sempre qui non mancano mai!
Arrivati presto a scuola abbiamo partecipato alla meditazione della mattina, prima dell’inizio delle lezioni. Tra canti sacri, silenzi e “om”, la mattina è iniziata FULL POWER!
Iniziare la giornata come da tradizione
Durante la pausa pranzo c’è stata una vera e propria esplosione di emozione! Isha, la bimba sostenuta dalla nostra volontaria Laurenza, mi si avvicina, e con grande dolcezza mi consegna una busta per Laurenza. Questi sono i gesti che ti riempiono la vita e ti fanno capire quanta riconoscenza e amore c’è dietro un sostegno a distanza che dona la possibilità di avere un futuro migliore.
Quando ci si trova fra le bimbe, la loro stessa natura pura ti fa rendere conto di essere connesso con il cuore e con il tutto, in uno scambio di amore continuo.
Dopo la scuola ci siamo trovati in ufficio con Priyanka, Vice Preside ed insegnante di inglese, e due delle nostre bimbe, Pooja e Nikita, per una nuova ed interessante esperienza: un ponte concreto fra India e Italia.
Oggi a Padova, con gli studenti del Liceo Scientifico e Linguistico A. Cornaro, e’ iniziato, grazie a Thomas, nostro socio e volontario, il progetto di sensibilizzazione nelle scuole.
Durante la conferenza, sono stati trattati i temi piu’ importanti e piu’ vicini alla realta’ degli studenti di tutto il mondo, narrati attraverso l’esperienza personale di Thomas stesso, che ha insegnato per 10 anni nelle scuole in Giappone ed è stato gia’ di aiuto direttamente sul campo per noi in India, nella scuola Fior di Loto, per diversi mesi.
Partendo da una visione globale di come il livello culturale si sta vistosamente abbassando in gran parte dei paesi, si e’ arrivati a comprendere come l’educazione, tramite l’istituzione scolastica, puo’ influenzare e far fronte a questo problema, fornendo alle nuove generazioni i mezzi neccessari per crescere e crearsi un futuro anche dove la societa’ stessa, a volte, non aiuta.
Molti dei ragazzi e delle ragazze che hanno partecipato si sono fatti coinvolgere senza tanta resistenza dall’argomento, mostrando particolare interesse per il lavoro svolto da AFLIN direttamente sul campo.
Le numerose foto e i video proiettati durante la conferenza hanno sicuramente reso tangibile questo sentire e l’esperienza diretta con una videochiamata da Pushkar in tempo reale, ha portato uno scambio di emozioni e di esperienze cosi veloce che e’ sembrato di trovarsi insieme, nella stessa classe, nello stesso momento.
Anche da questa parte, a Pushkar, le bimbe coinvolte sono state molto felici e hanno dimostrato il loro interesse con domande, se pur semplici, per loro molto importanti.
Avere una visione di cosa c’è oltre quella che per noi è la vita “normale” apre le porte e gli orizzonti a tutte le persone che hanno la volontà di crescere.

We arrived early at school and we attended the morning meditation, before classes start. Among sacred songs, silence and “OMs”, the morning began FULL POWER!
During the lunch break there was a real explosion of emotion! Isha, the child sponsored by our volunteer Laurenza, comes up to me, and very gently handed me an envelope for Laurenza. These are the gestures that fill your life and make you understand how much gratitude and love there is behind a remote support, which gives the opportunity to have a better future.
When you are among the girls, their very pure nature makes you realize that you are connected with the heart and with the whole, in a continuous exchange of love.
After school we gathered in the office with Priyanka, Vice Principal and English teacher, and two of our girls, Pooja and Nikita, for a new and interesting experience: a concrete bridge between India and Italy.
Today in Padua, with the students of the Scientific and Linguistic High School A. Cornaro, thanks to Thomas, our member and volunteer, started the “awareness project” in schools.
During the conference, were debated the most important themes and the closest to the reality of the students from around the world, narrated through the personal experience of Thomas himself, who taught for 10 years in schools in Japan and who have already been of big help for us in the field in India, at the lotus flower school, for several months.
Starting from a global view of how the cultural level has conspicuously been lowered in most of the countries, and arriving to understand how education, through the educational institution, can influence and face this problem by providing new generations the necessary means to grow and create a future where even society itself, sometimes, does not help.
Many of the boys and girls who participated got involved without much resistance by the argument, showing particular interest in the work done by AFLIN in the field.
The numerous photos and videos screened during the conference have definitely made this feelings tangible and the direct experience with a video call from Pushkar in real time, led an exchange of emotions and experiences so fast that it seemed to come together, in the same class, at the same time.
Also on this side, in Pushkar, the girls involved were very happy and have shown their interest with questions, though simple, very important for them.
Having a vision of what is beyond what for us is the “normal” life, opens doors and horizons to all the people who have the desire to grow.
