È arrivato il mio turno! Non poteva mancare un mio diario, un racconto che viene dal cuore e ogni volta non è così facile da scrivere.
My turn has come! My diary couldn’t be missed, a story that come from the heart and every time it’s so easy to write.
Quest’anno l’India per me è ancora più intensa. A parte le tante cose da fare, i progetti da portare avanti, i sogni da realizzare, la vivo ancora più come la mia terra. Non sento più differenza tra Italia e India, ci sono dentro e tutto è sempre più familiare.
Sono arrivata il 9 febbraio e ancora non so quando tornerò ma vi prometto che tornerò!
Primi giorni passati a Jaipur con parte del team italiano e in compagnia di amici speciali del luogo con cui ho vissuto tante emozioni e con cui ho iniziato a pensare ad idee nuove e strade importanti da percorrere.
This year India for me is even more intense than usual. On top of the many things to do, the projects to ultimate, the dreams to accomplish, I live it even more like my own land. I don’t feel the difference between Italy and India any more, I am fully immersed and everything becomes more and more familiar. I got here on the 9th of February and I still don’t know when I’ll come back but I promise I will come back! The fist days we were in Jaipur with part of the Italian team and with special local friends in the place where I lived so many new emotions and where I started thinking about new ideas and projects to accomplish.
Arrivata poi a Pushkar il cuore è esploso dalla gioia! Si Pushkar è casa!
Ho ritrovato gli amici, la mia famiglia indiana, Deepu la mia spalla e tutte le persone che fanno parte di questa mia vita e le bimbe soprattutto!
Arriving in pushkar my heart exploded from joy! Yes pushkar is home! Once again I found my friends, my Indian family, deepu my shoulder to lean on and all the people that are part of my life here especially the girls!
Si comincia così a lavorare iniziando con il progetto fotografico “100 obiettivi di AFLIN” creato e curato dalla mia amica speciale Betty. Senza perdere tempo le bimbe sono tutte emozionate per questa nuova avventura e l’idea dello studio della fotografia le fa sentire ancora una volta realizzate.
Hanno delle responsabilità, macchine fotografiche importanti nelle loro mano e devono riuscire a catturare momenti unici, tutto questo per loro è nuovo ma sanno bene come poter fare del loro meglio.
We start working with the project “100 lenses for AFLIN” created and executed by my special friend Betty.
Without loosing any time the girls are all so excited for this new adventure and the idea of studing photography makes them once again feel accomplished. They have responsibilities, important cameras in their hands and they have to capture moments that are one of a kind, all of this is being y new for them but they know how they can do it at best.
Per questo progetto abbiamo avuto l’onore di avere l’Ambasciatore Italiano in India, Lorenzo Angeloni, per l’inaugurazione a Pushkar. Le bimbe felicissime e Angeloni ha voluto raccontare alle bimbe cosa significa fare l’Ambasciatore facendo un piccolo show con la collaborazione mia e di Betty. Le bimbe hanno riso tantissimo e onestamente anche noi!
For the inauguration of this project in pushkar we had the honor of hosting the Italian ambassador in India Lorenzo Angeloni. The girls were enthusiastic and Angeloni wanted to explain to them what it means to be an ambassador and he created a little show with the help of Betty and me. The girls laughed a lot and honestly so did we!
Un susseguirsi poi di politici, giornalisti, TV e addirittura un famoso Guru! Sembrava tutto surreale ma nello stesso tempo normale.
Durante la cerimonia della consegna delle macchine ho ricevuto anche un messaggio via WhatsApp da parte dell’Ambasciatore Indiano in Italia, Mr Anil Wadhwa, che ha contribuito alla giornata inaugurale di questo progetto.
One after the other appeared politicians, journalists, tv stars and even a famous Guru! It all seemed surreal but at the same time normal.
During the ceremony with the delivery of the cameras I even received a WhatsApp message for the Indian ambassador in Italy,Mr Anil Wadhwa, that contributed to the Inauguration Day of this project.
La cooperazione tra Italia e India è stata molto importante e porteremo avanti con grande orgoglio tutte le nostre attività supportate anche dai due paesi.
Non nego l’emozione nè la maggiore responsabilità che vedo davanti ma so che ce la faremo e grazie a tutte le persone che ci sono vicine e ci supportano siamo in grado di poter fare tutto questo.
Siamo tutti come i mattoni che reggono una casa e la stiamo costruendo con vero amore.

The cooperation between Italy and India was very important and we will continue with great pride all our activities that are supported by both countries. I don’t deny the emotion and the more responsibility I see ahead of myself, but I know that I will make it thanks to all the people that are close to me and support us and thanks to them we are able to do everything. We are all like the bricks that support a house and we are building it with a lot of love.
