Piccole bambine reporter. Il progetto continua con la prima uscita per Pushkar.
Little reporter girls. The projects continues with the first tour of pushkar.
Iniziamo dalle più piccole che frequentano la materna. Il primo gruppo è composto da sei cuccioline che hanno tra i 4 ed i 5 anni e noi siamo in 3, perché la prudenza non è mai troppa: Manu, l’insegnante ed io. Usciamo a piedi dalle scuola e ci muoviamo nei dintorni, raggiungendo la Gurdwara: ma preferisco non entrare, preferisco che le bimbe osservino parti dove non sono state mai.
We start with the younger girls that go to kindergarten. The first group includes 6 cuties that are 4 and 5 years old and there are 3 of us because one can’t ever be safe enough: manu, the teacher and I. We walk out of the school and roam around reaching the Gurdwara: but I prefer not to enter because I would like the girls to observe things they haven’t seen before.
Sono eccitate, alcune tese: mi colpisce in particolare Sarita, piccola, magra, occhioni truccati con il kohl, così rigida che nemmeno riesco a farle impugnare la macchina fotografica.
Tuttavia tenendola per mano, iniziando a cantare canzoncine che ricordavo dai tempi dei miei figli piccoli e facendole un po’ divertire (mi guardano sorprese all’inizio, poi ridono tanto e iniziano a cantare pure loro) si rilassa, accende la macchina e sarà la bimba che realizzerà alcune tra le fotografie più significative di questa uscita.
They are excited, some a little tense, I’m shocked by one in particular Sarita, she is small skinny, big eyes with kohl and so rigid that She can’t even hold the camera. But holding her hand, and singing her songs like I would do when by sons were young and making them have a little fun (they looked at me surprised at the start then they start to sing themselves) she relaxes and turns on the camera she will be one of the girls to take the most significant pictures today.
Al ritorno sarà lei a cantare e dovrò spegnere io la sua macchinetta.
Noto che le piccole vengono per lo più catturate dagli sguardi o dai dettagli: giocattoli esposti sui banchetti lungo la strada, particolari che scorgono sui muri, braccialetti colorati.
Tornata a casa poi mi intenerisco quando noto che ci sono molte immagini con le loro dita sull’obiettivo; ci sta, ed è significativo.
Un paio d’ore di giro intenso e siamo felici tutti al ritorno.
On the way back she will be the one to sing and I to have to turn her camera off. I notice that the young girls are captured mostly by details and looks: toys in the market, details on the wall, colored bracelets. However when I get back home I notice that there are many pictures with their fingers in front of the camera, it’s expected and significant.
A few hours spent walking intensively and we’re all happy when we get back.
